Preparing For Nanowrimo Part 2

It's three days from November and I've decided that for Nanowrimo, I'm going to do a rewrite of a first draft I finished earlier this month.  This will be the third time that I've decided to do Nanowrimo, and I hope that this will be the first time I win. 

I've been preparing for Nanowrimo, by scanning in all the handwritten pages of the first draft, rereading it and taking notes on what needs to expanded and marking what will need to be cut.  A lot of this will change when I'm actually rewriting, but it's a start.

Preparing for Nanowrimo

It's October and it's almost time to prepare for Nanowrimo.  I've decided to do a rewrite this year.  Last year, 2014, I decided to finish a story I was working on rather than start an new project.

I have three short stories I can rewrite, and two completed first drafts.  I'll start prepping by listing out the ways I can improve upon each story and what new plot lines need to be added.  It's mostly adding in story lines and typing up the original handwritten drafts. 

I'll write more as Nanowrimo gets closer and I have more to say.
